We are back from Indonesia after an exhausting trip of 24 hours. Luckily, no one freaked on our plane and did what terrorists want us to do.

It is nice to be back, but at the same time I am caught in moments of extreme sadness, having to let go of a country that not only has much nicer weather than Berlin could ever dream of, but also people with a kindness, openness, friendliness unrivaled anywhere in Europe.

I’ll be back, surely.
